Unplanned supervision

Unplanned supervision lets personnel check on a user on video when they need to, outside an alarm or a planned supervision. It is started from TelluGo and handled like an alarm, so it is logged in the same way.

Unplanned supervision is only available when the camera profile allows it. Read more in Advanced settings.

Responders: start an unplanned supervision

  1. In TelluGo, go to Users and find the user in the list.
  2. Select Unplanned supervision. TelluCare creates an alarm that you have already accepted, and opens it.
  3. Handle it like any other alarm: open the camera, confirm arrival or handle it remotely, and log and close it. Read more in Alarm handling.

Good to know

  • Unplanned supervision is not released or closed automatically, and it does not escalate.
  • If an unplanned supervision is already open for the user, it is cancelled when a new planned or unplanned supervision is created.
  • If the camera profile doesn't allow it, TelluGo shows Unplanned supervision is not allowed for this camera.
  • Starting an unplanned supervision is written to the audit log.
