Planned supervision

Planned supervision is scheduled alarms. At each planned time, TelluCare raises an alarm for the user so personnel can check on them.

For / Required Role: Technician

  • If Snapshots is on in the camera profile of the user's camera, a snapshot is attached to the alarm for quick clarification. If the user has several cameras, the first one is used.
  • The video stream can be opened from the alarm card.

Add planned supervision

The user must have a camera attached. See Attaching cameras.

  1. Go to Users, open the user and select the Camera supervision tab.
  2. In Planned supervision, select Add planned supervision.
  3. Fill in the fields (see the table).
  4. Under Days, choose the days, or select All.
  5. Under Times, set the time an alarm should be raised. Select + to add more times on the same days. To remove a time, select the Γ— next to it.
  6. Select Add.

For example, add one planned supervision for Monday to Wednesday with times at 22:00, 03:00 and 06:00, and another for Thursday to Sunday at 22:00.

Change or remove planned supervision

The Planned supervision list shows each schedule with its display text, priority, description, days, times and forwarding.

  • To change one, select the pencil, make the change and select Update.
  • To remove one, select the bin icon and confirm with Yes.

Good to know

  • If the previous planned supervision alarm is still open when the next one is due, the previous one is closed as cancelled. It stays in Alarm history.
  • Removing the user's last camera removes all their planned supervision.
  • No alarm is raised for an inactive user.
  • Schedules can share days. Check the list so you don't get two alarms at the same time.
  • A camera can be used for planned supervision only, with no event detection. See Attaching cameras.

In integrated deployments

Planned supervision alarms are forwarded to the partner system like any other alarm. The Forwarding column in the list shows where each one goes. Personnel open the video stream on demand from the partner system.
