Integrations overview
An integration connects your TelluCare account to a partner system, such as a nurse call or response application. Responders then work in the partner system, and TelluCare is where users, cameras and alarm settings are managed.
What an integration does
An integration can do one or both of these:

Which users are included
Each integration is active for one or more user groups. Alarm forwarding and camera access apply only to users in those groups. Alarms for these users are sent to the partner system and do not appear in TelluCare.
Support chooses which user groups an integration is active for.
What is sent to the partner system
- The alarm. The integration's alarm routes translate each TelluCare alarm type into the partner system's alarm code. An alarm type without a route is not forwarded.
- An ID for the person or room. Depending on the integration, this is an external ID, such as Generic ID, Phoniro ID or UMO ID, or the TelluCare ID. The ID is registered on the person or room the camera is attached to, and the partner system uses it to find the right room or person. See Event forwarding.
No name or address is sent. If the integration uses a national identity number as the ID, that number is sent.
How responders open video
In the partner system, responders open video through an embedded player or a link from the alarm. The partner system uses the integration's credentials to open the stream from TelluCare. Camera profiles still decide when video can be opened and whether it is anonymized. See Camera profiles.
