TelluCare Supervision now contains functionality to manage multiple alarms as a batch. This functionality is only recommended as part of a clean up and should be used with caution.
There is a real risk of closing alarms that are active and needs attention!
Purpose
The prupose of the functionality is to close multiple alarms in a batch, thus saving time and effort.
Constraints and conditions
You may only close alarms that match a filter that you specify.
The filter may not include todays date.
You may either "complete" or "reject" the alarms.
You may include free text or specific patients in the filter.
The closing of alarms will append a standard text on all alarms, and this text may not be changed. The text includes information about who closed, and refers to local procedures.
A local procedure for the use of this functionality is mandatory.
Instructions
As a "Service responsible" user, you will find this functionality under "Alarm history".
There is a button in the upper right corner of the screen that is labeled "Clean up".
Adjust the filters according to your procedure and requirements, and press "Preview".
This will show alarms that correspond to the filter.
When the preview shows a satifactory selection, press either "Complete all" or "Reject all". The difference is the status of the alarm after the operation, and the standard text appended to the alarm.
You will have a visual confirmation of the closing of alarms.
